Get on with it!!!!!!!

Well it is a new year 2011 and it is time to put feat to my faith and get on with it.  I am just plain tired of always counting, weighing, measuring my food.  I want that day to come when I can just look at something and know what the content is.

But until that day~I will be keeping on.  I had a nice 20 minute walk with the dogs this morning.  It did really feel good to get out there and walk and these little guys

Casper

Mr Bosley

they do get going and I am literally jogging albeit slowly when we walk.  So I know I am getting some much needed exercise.  Now I need to adjust my portions.  I was watching, I think, The Today Show and they were interviewing a dietitian who said you can really eat too much of even good food.  So I am checking my portions now.

Do any of you have any words of encouragement for what is taking so long...I know I have alot to lose and I really need to just look at it in increments of small losses.

I am going to post something on my main blog too about being wounded......

Yep, don't look at the whole picture of everything you have to lose...start small i.e. 1st 10 pounds. Then when you reach it, reward yourself...even if it's a self done manicure or something like that.

Just keep going girl. You know that those who loose it a tad slower seem to keep it off.
I need to get back to work...with Keith gone we have been eating horribly. Bad Mom...bad mom. :)

I was at 220lbs after having my son in 2004 & I didn't really start trying to loose it until 2007when I signed up for the breast cancer 3 day walk. I had 70lbs to loose to hit my goal weight. Well, it is 2011 & I have 30lbs left to loose... I use to get down on myself but the reality is I am healthier today than the day I started and that HAS TO BE GOOD ENOUGH.... I look at each day as a new day to hit my goal of staying OP but if I don't I do NOT get down on myself. I would rather it take years to loose & learn the lesson than to loose it all in 1 year just to gain it plus some back the next year. I hope that helps!! I also hope to see you on the 21st!!
